Testimonial 1 “When I pulled a muscle in my upper back I still needed help to get dressed a week later. I visited Lei and after just one session of deep tissue massage combined with acpuncture I was able to bend over and tie up my own shoe laces. A few more sessions to ensure the muscle mended properly and I’ve never suffered any flair ups. That was 5 years ago and Lei is my first resort for any and all health related upsets.”
Testimonial 2 “As one of Dr Wang’s patient, I can strongly recommend her for her outstanding professional skill. My eyes became very sensitive to light after suffering from posterior scleritis. Sessions of acupuncture did improve my condition and made night- time driving easier again. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs give me stomach ache and I have resorted to acupuncture and massage for pain relief and increased flexibility for my shoulder problem. Dr Wang’s prescriptions for preventing cold and flu are also very effective. Her clinic is my first choice as far as alternate medicines is concerned.”
Testimonial 3 “I have suffered with Paroxysmal ( Intermittent ) Atrial Fibrillation for some years but in July 2009 the situation became much worse and I experienced more episodes of the condition.
As a result I migrated in the direction of my G.P. and have since been subjected to various hospital tests ranging from 24 hour blood pressure monitors, E.C.G. checks, and a 7 day heart performance monitor.
To date none of the tests have revealed any underlining heart conditions that might explain the A/fib except for a raised pre-examination blood pressure reading and a slight under-reading thyroid result. These are being explored at the present time and meanwhile I have been advised, by the cardiologist, to take a daily aspirin and beta blocker.
However, as I am not at all enthusiastic about taking drugs long term, and all the side effects that ensue from this, I was very keen to find a natural solution to the problem. Having read good results for acupuncture on other matters, I approached Dr Wang before Christmas 2009 to discuss the situation.
As a result I have now completed a course of acupuncture and am currently taking a herbal medicine on a daily basis. The results have been impressive and now instead of experiencing an A/fib episode more or less daily during a typical month, in March this has been reduced to 7 days with 24 days free of A/fib.
I am hoping that even this can be improved upon and I am only using the beta blockers to deal with the occasional episodes that now occur.
The hospital Cardiologist has been made aware of my course of action and although expressing doubt on the ability of acupuncture to deal effectively with the condition there has been no objection raised to taking the herbal treatment. In fact, I have now been requested to undergo, in May, a further 7 day monitor test to record the effiency of the herbal treatment in dealing with the A/fib condition.
I found this attitude enlightening and very encouraging as I personally feel that using conventional medicine and alternatives together in partnership serve the best interests of the patient.
I am so pleased that, in Dr Wang, I have found an acupuncturist willing to take on a very challenging condition an a natuaral healing system that has the capacity and strength to deal successfully with it.
I can stongly recommend anyone with a similar condition to have it thoughly investigated conventionally in the first insant, as a precaution, but also, in parallel, pursue a similar path to mine as this could turn out to be the only action needed to achieve success.”
