Acupuncture is a safe and effective treatment that involves the insertion of thin needles at specific acupuncture points on the body. We only use ultra-fine needles (0.18mm-0.25mm) that are sterile and single-use to ensure maximum safety and minimum discomfort. During these sessions, acupuncture is combined with acupressure and tuina massage to enhance relaxation of the muscles and aid recovery.

Cupping is painless treatment that involves the application of glass suction cups to various muscles using the traditional flame technique. During these sessions, the cups are initially slid along different muscle groups before being left in place. The suction force of the cups pulls at the skin to stimulate blood flow and enhance muscle recovery. Please note: this treatment leave red patches on areas of skin that has undergone cupping; this is painless and will disappear within a few days.

Tui Na translates as ‘to push and squeeze’ and it is a form of deep tissue therapeutic massage. Using a range of techniques, it stimulates acupuncture points to enhance the circulation of blood, restore the flow of Qi (energy flow) and aid the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. Tui Na is an integral part of our treatment and all acupuncture sessions begin and end with Tui Na; however, we also offer Tui Na as a standalone treatment option.
